Module 16
Module 16: Putting It All Together — Daily Routine
Here is a structured daily routine that incorporates everything from this course.[^36]
Pre-Market (30-60 Minutes Before Session Open)
- Check the economic calendar: Identify any high-impact news releases (NFP, CPI, FOMC, GDP). Avoid trading during these events as a beginner.
- Review higher timeframe charts (Daily/4H): Determine the trend direction and mark major supply/demand zones on each of your instruments.
- Build your watchlist: Identify 2-4 instruments that are approaching key zones with clear setups developing.
- Set price alerts: Place alerts at the key zones so you're notified when price arrives.
- Review your trading plan rules: Read them before the session to prime your execution.
During the Session
- Wait for price to reach your zones: Do not force trades. If nothing is at your zones, do nothing.
- Confirm with lower timeframe: When price reaches a zone, switch to your execution timeframe and look for candlestick confirmation.[^16]
- Execute according to your plan: Enter, set stop-loss, set take-profit. Then step back.
- Do not move your stop-loss (unless trailing it in profit according to your rules).
- Manage your emotions: If you hit your max daily loss, close the platform and walk away.
Post-Market (15-30 Minutes After Session Close)
- Journal every trade: Record all the fields from Module 14.
- Take screenshots: Save chart images of your setups.
- Rate your execution: Did you follow the plan? Score yourself 1-10.
- Identify improvements: Write one thing you'll do better tomorrow.
